Full Configuration Study of Light No-Core Nuclei with Novel Realistic NN Interaction JISP16
نویسنده
چکیده
We introduce the no-core full configuration (NCFC) approach and present results for He, C and F with the realistic NN interaction, JISP16. We obtain ground state energies and their uncertainties through exponential extrapolations that we demonstrate are reliable in He where fully converged results are obtained. We find C is overbound by 1.7 MeV and we predict the yet-to-be-measured binding energy of F to be 70.2±3.5 MeV. The extrapolated spectrum of F is in reasonable agreement with known features of the B spectrum.

Study of light kaonic nuclei with a Chiral SU ( 3 ) - based K̄N interaction
We have investigated the prototype kaonic nucleus, ppK−, using the method of Antisymmetrized Molecular Dynamics (AMD). In the present study we use a realistic NN potential with strongly repulsive core, and a Chiral SU(3)-based K̄N interaction which is energy-dependent and includes both sand pwave interactions. We find that no self-consistent solutions exist when the range parameter of the K̄N int...
متن کاملNuclear Structure and Response based on Correlated Realistic NN Interactions
Starting from the Argonne V18 nucleon-nucleon interaction and using the Unitary Correlation Operator Method, a correlated interaction vUCOM has been constructed, which is suitable for calculations within restricted Hilbert spaces. In this work we employ the vUCOM in Hartree-Fock, perturbation-theory and RPA calculations and we study the ground-state properties of various closed-shell nuclei, as...
متن کاملLight nuclei from chiral EFT interactions
Recent developments in nuclear theory allow us to make a connection between quantum chromodynamics (QCD) and low-energy nuclear physics. First, chiral effective field theory (χEFT) provides a natural hierarchy to define two-nucleon (NN), three-nucleon (NNN), and even four-nucleon interactions. Second, ab initio methods have been developed capable to test these interactions for light nuclei. In ...
متن کاملLarge-space shell-model calculations for light nuclei.
An effective two-body interaction is constructed from a new Reidlike NN potential for a large no-core space consisting of six major shells and is used to generate the shell-model properties for light nuclei from A=2 to 6. For practical reasons, the model space is partially truncated for A=6. Binding energies and other physical observables are calculated and they compare favorably with experimen...
متن کاملMomentum-dependent mean field based upon the Dirac-Brueckner approach for nuclear matter.
A momentum-dependent mean field potential, suitable for application in the transport-model description of nucleus-nucleus collisions, is derived in a microscopic way. The derivation is based upon the Bonn meson-exchange model for the nucleon-nucleon interaction and the Dirac-Brueckner approach for nuclear matter. The properties of the microscopic mean field are examined and compared with phenom...
